Cooke Sentenced To Life For Murder of In-Laws

A Warren County jury has convicted a McMinnville man in the stabbing deaths of his in-laws in 2015.

The jury found Bryan Cooke Guilty Wednesday of two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Gail and Gary Dodson. The couple found dead in June of 2015 inside their home in the Fairview Community. Following the killings, authorities said Cooke fled to Jacksonville Florida, where he was eventually captured and extradited back to Warren County.

The jury also found Cooke guilty of two counts of felony murder, especially aggravated robbery, and theft of property.

After today’s verdict the jury sentenced Cooke to life in prison without the possibility of parole
