Clay County 911 Knocked Out By Weather

Clay County’s E-911 Dispatch Service was knocked out possibly due to a lightning strike.

That according to Overton County 911 Director, Chris Masiongale.

Masiongale said Overton and Putnam Counties are sending mobile units to Clay County to help assist with dispatching.

Masiongale said service will unlikely return to Clay County tonight as severe weather moves through the Upper Cumberland region.
