The Celina-Clay County Chamber of Commerce has rebuilt its websites to better advertise the community to tourists.
Executive Director Doug Young said it includes new tabs for water recreation, nature opportunities and what local businesses have to offer.
“That gave us a lot of really up-to-date photography to go on both websites,” Young said. “It allows people to get a better look of Clay County before they get here and make them want to come to Clay County.”
The state tourism development department sent a professional photography team to Clay County late last year. Young said the photos have been added that show activities such as fishing or hiking.
Young said you can also now view local eateries, boutiques and historical locations on the updated web pages. Young said the goal is to attract more people to spend money in the county.
