Putnam Building Numbers Set New Record In April

Building permits for the month of April in Putnam County set an all-time record. According to Mayor Randy Porter,  April numbers showed 46 permits for $9.2 million, with 22 of those being new single family residential homes. Cookeville Salon Suffers Extensive Damage After Sunday Fire

Fire investigators were in Cookeville Monday morning gathering information from a salon that suffered extensive fire damage Sunday afternoon.
