For the second time in two days, Cookeville Police arrested a Baxter man for driving with a revoked license. And in both cases, officers found methamphetamine in the vehicle. A sentencing hearing for a White County man convicted of wire fraud and money laundering will take place May 14th. Blackhawk Makes Emergency Landing In Livingston

An Army Blackhawk helicopter made an emergency landing at Livingston Municipal Airport Wednesday morning after experiencing smoke in the cockpit. Overton County Fire Chief Rocky Dial said a windshield wiper malfunctioned, forcing the landing. Two mechanics aboard the chopper were able to service the craft.
