Two men face possible charges after fleeing from a Cannon County deputy Thursday and later crashing a stolen car in DeKalb County.
35-year-old Jonathon Scott and 32-year-old Eric Cox had to be airlifted to Vanderbilt following the crash.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the crash happened on DeKalb County’s Hogfoot Road after the deputy terminated the pursuit. A report said Scott was driving a stolen 1995 Honda Accord when he failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road, and went into a creek.
The deputy eventually came upon the crash and summoned emergency services to the scene.
