Burton Branch Road Closed For Construction

Algood’s Burton Branch Road will be closed until Halloween.

Rogers Group project manager John Roberts said closing the road will speed up the process.

“There’s just some alignment issues that are going to require shut down of the road to actually speed up construction, let us get done a little early,” Roberts said.

That will interfere with traffic for Algood School, Roberts said. He recommended using Cooper Road to access the school.

Rogers Group will do the work under TDOT contract. The company will widen Burton Branch Road from Main Street to Dry Valley Road.
