Bredesen Wins Democratic Senate Primary

Democratic-favorite Phil Bredesen is declared the winner of the democratic primary race for U.S. Senator.

With one percent of votes counted, Bredesen received over 95 percent of all votes across Tennessee, defeating Gary Davis and John Wolfe.

Bredesen served as Tennessee’s governor for two terms between 2003 to 2011.
