Interim Jackson County Clerk Brandon Stafford will continue to serve as clerk.
Stafford received 1,114 votes beating Mary Crowder with 748 votes and Emily Mahaney Trisdale with 481.
Gainesboro will have two new alderman with Travis Agee, 149 votes, and Ricky Head, 128 votes. The third alderman will be incumbent Wayne Strong, 130 votes. Former alderman Jackie Jenkins received 123 votes.
Kaleb Allen will be Jackson County’s newest Assessor of Property. Allen received 1025 votes replacing Tim Bowman, who did not run for re-election. In the same race, Anthony Buck got 781 votes and Johnny Pigg with 720.
The remainder of the winners ran unopposed. Incumbent Mark Allen will remain as the third district school board member with a count of 361. Mark Brown was re-elected as the fifth district school board member with 402 votes.
Lloyd Williams was re-elected as the Gainesboro mayor with 181 votes.
