Bond Reduction Denied For Man Charged With Statutory Rape

A judge has denied a bond reduction for a man charged with having sexual relations with a teen more than 4-years younger than him.

William Gregory Mills remains jailed on 15-thousand dollars bond. He’s charged with aggravated statutory rape.

A judge denied the bond motion after a Cumberland County Deputy testified that the state had DNA evidence to present at trial.

Judge David Patterson set November 14th as the deadline for filing motions in the case and set the case for trial on December 13th.
