Blood Assurance will hold a blood drive tomorrow at Cookeville’s Life Church.
Donor Recruiter Trudy Cody said there’s a need for O negative and O positive blood types as the Holidays are high blood usage times.
Cody said a donating blood saves three lives and takes about 30 minutes to complete.
Tomorrow’s blood drive will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Cookeville’s Life Church.
No appointment are necessary and Cody recommends eating a good meal, drinking plenty of water, and avoiding energy drinks before donating blood.
