Baxter Branch Library Moves To New Location

The Baxter Branch Library has moved to a new location.

Branch Manager Matthew Krist said the library has relocated to unused space at Baxter Primary, right next to the Baxter Senior Center.

“It’s just a better move for the city of Baxter, the library, and the senior center,” Krist said. “This is a joint effort between Putnam County, the city of Baxter and also Putnam County Schools. They modified two classrooms so it’s actually a much bigger space. I would say about two and a half times the size of what we originally had inside the Baxter City Hall.”

The new address for the library is 101 Elmore Town Road, which is at the corner of First Avenue and Elmore Town Road.
