Livingston Police want visitors at the new Livingston City Park to follow some basic rules.
Police Chief Greg Etheredge said skateboards and roller skates won’t be allowed. Also, the only pets allowed in the park will be service animals. He said a report came in that a person had brought shampoo and washed their dog in the park’s splash fountains. That also won’t be allowed, Etheredge said.
“It is one of the greatest things that’s been built here for our youth, for our community, and we just want to make sure people know to take care of it so it’ll be here long after we’re gone,” he said.
Livingston opened it’s $1.1 million city park last month. Etheredge said at any time, there’s about 50 children playing in the park.
