Charlotte Woman Injured in I-40 Crash

A 33-year-old woman suffered injuries Tuesday afternoon following a single-vehicle crash in Cumberland County. Rebecca Pierce of Charlotte, NC was transported to UT Medical Center in Knoxville with undisclosed injuries. Her condition is unknown. Cookeville Woman Injured in Burgess Falls Road Crash

A 62-year-old Cookeville woman suffered injuries during a two-vehicle crash in Putnam County Tuesday. Officials said a medical helicopter airlifted Cynthia Mantle to Nashville’s Skyline Medical Center. Her condition and injuries are currently unknown. Putnam County authorities arrested a fourth person Monday in connection with an armed robbery in Baxter last month. Suspicious packages were found at the Cookeville Kroger and Walmart Monday night, according to the Cookeville Police Department.
