Crossville was announced Tuesday as the headquarters for technology startup Whisper Aero. Livingston Hazard Mitigation Application Received By FEMA

Livingston’s hazard mitigation grant application to buy at-risk homes in a flood plain is in FEMA’s hands. Administrative Assistant Rebecca Clayton said that five to six homeowners have said they want to be in this program. Putnam Construction Permits Slow Due To Material Costs

Building material costs have finally slowed down Putnam County construction permits. Mayor Randy Porter said July saw 26 permits for $3.3 million in construction costs, nine being single family homes. Porter said that last July had 44 permits for $6.1 million. Livingston Requiring Unvaccinated City Employees To Mask

All unvaccinated Livingston city employees will be required to wear masks, effective immediately. Mayor Curtis Hayes said people entering city buildings will be temperature screened and asked to wear a mask when inside.
