Missing Cookeville Teen Spotted In Crossville

A missing Cookeville teenager was recently seen in Crossville. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department reported 16-year-old Amanda Bolden was spotted Tuesday on Rose Street. Bolden was last seen July 19 in Cookeville. Sergeant Gary Howard said he visited two Crossville residents Wednesday and both confirmed she was there the day before. The search is ongoing. Monterey Approves Bids For TTHM Reducing Generator

The Town of Monterey is taking the first steps toward addressing its Total Trihalomethane (TTHM) issue. TTHM is a by-product of the disinfection treatment in water. Sparta Police Getting New Vehicle

The Sparta Board of Alderman Thursday approved the $33,000 purchase of a new Police Pursuit vehicle for the police department. Gainesboro Drive-Thru Window Coming Soon

The Town of Gainesboro will have a drive-thru window at city hall before year-end. The Board of Aldermen voted Thursday to use the remaining $14,000 in CARES Act money to fund the project.
