Sparta Aldermen Approve Trash Trailer Repair To Improve Operations

The Sparta Board of Aldermen wants to improve its sanitation operation through a trailer repair project approved Thursday night. Former Overton Correctional Officer Sentenced For Misconduct

A former Overton County correctional officer pleaded guilty to a charge for criminal misconduct after inmates revealed he had sexual contact with them. Warren Bridgestone Plant Getting New Addition And Jobs

Bridgestone investing $550 million into its Warren County plant expanding its operation to include a new environmentally friendly tire. Warren Water Projects Awarded State Infrastructure Funding

Warren County has been awarded a $5.5 million state grant for proposed drinking water and wastewater projects. The money comes through the state’s allocation of ARP money meant for water infrastructure improvement. Putnam Construction Doubled In August Compared To Last Year

Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter reporting another strong month of new construction in August Thursday. The county doubled its construction permits compared to last year. August had 31 permits for $6.7 million of construction. Twenty-three of those were new single family homes. That compared to August 2021 which saw 12 permits for $3 million.
