Arts Build Communities Grant Workshop To Take Place In Cookeville

Local government entities and nonprofits have a chance to apply for an ARTS Build Communities Grant.

The Upper Cumberland Development District administers the grant each year and will hold an application workshop on Monday, April 30th.

“The workshop will be a great opportunity for applicants to ask questions and address any concerns that they have with the application,” UCDD representative Tasha Schwenn said.

In the past, Schwenn said the grant has been used for projects involved with the Upper Cumberland Quilt Trail, the Summer Fine Arts Camp, and Scarecrow Festival.

Schwenn said those who wish to apply can visit the Tennessee Arts Commission website to learn more about the grant.
