Arrest Made In Jackson Co Arson, Theft

A Murfreesboro man arrested Sunday on arson and vandalism chargers after an investigation by Jackson County Sheriffs Deputies and the TBI.

39-year old Kevin Dyer faces two counts of burning personal property, one count of vandalism over $250,000, one count of vandalism from $2,500 to $10,000, and two counts of theft over $1,000. Dyer is accused in a fire involving tractors on Bethel Palk Road in Jackson County. The incident happened in May, 2019.

TBI Special Agents tied Dyer to the incident.

Dyer being held in the Jackson County Jail under $10,000 bond.
