Funeral services have been set for a Cookeville woman who died in a fire Sunday morning.
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Ruth Allison, age 83, of Cookeville will be held Wednesday June 26 at 1 p.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Kocher officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Allison’s family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Allison reportedly died in a fire at her home Sunday morning.
Cookeville Fire Department officials said the fire broke out shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Windsor Street.
Fire Chief Daryl Blair said the fire appeared to be accidental, but an investigation will continue.
