All-In Futbol Club TN’s U13 Division 2 Boys Chippewas soccer team has just won the club’s first State Cup title.
Director of Coaching Davis Draper said that the team played three hard games against teams from Nashville, Arlington, and Johnson City. He said that they made it to the semi-finals the last year, and that the last time he won a cup as a coach was 16 years ago.
“I won a long time ago in 2006, and I’ve been coaching for a very long time, if that tells you how hard it is, I didn’t win another one until 2022,” Draper said. “So it feels fantastic. The boys worked really hard for it. It’s not easy, everybody shows up to play in state cup. So I’m just really proud that they won and the way that they won.”
Draper said that the next step is to prepare for the Southeast Region President’s Cup in Dallas, Texas.
Draper said that the club has about 21 teams made up of about 365 players from all around the Upper Cumberland. He said that they offer programs for kids ages six to 18.
“Our club and our teams are all awesome we have a strong culture,” Draper said. “We have fantastic coaches on all of our teams.”
