Algood will be seeking to hire a new city attorney during tonight’s regular scheduled meeting.
City Administrator Keith Morrison said current city attorney John Hatfield informed him that he can no longer serve the city of Algood.
“Out current city attorney has advised us that he has accepted another position and can no longer serve as city attorney so we will be replacing him,” Morrison said.
The city will consider hiring Daniel Rader IV when they meet at 6:00 p.m. tonight.
