Algood Police seeking the public’s assistance on a Cookeville man reported missing Sunday.
Allen Jimerson, a black male in his 40’s, was seen last Tuesday at Lane Avenue. Deputy Chief Bryant Swallows said Jimerson’s phone was last pinged near Fisk Road over the weekend.
“That was on the 15th of January, and he drives a 2008 Chevrolet pick-up truck gray in color,” Swallows said. “So if anybody lives in that area and maybe saw that truck on the 15th, we would sure appreciate a phone call.”
The vehicle tag reads VV97671. Swallows said the department and family are concerned for Jimerson’s well-being as a veteran. Swallows said you can report information to Algood Police at (931) 537-6830.
“He stays in pretty close contact with his family the way we understand it, so when he didn’t call, they got concerned about him, and they reported him missing to us on the 16th of January,” Swallows said.
