Alaska Airlines plane aborts takeoff to avoid collision

The pilot of an Alaska Airlines flight was forced to abort takeoff Thursday while traveling at about 120 mph down a runway at Nashville International Airport in order to avoid a potential collision with a Southwest Airlines plane. No one was injured. Source
