A Smithville man accused in a rash of home burglaries in July has learned his fate in court.
29-year-old Cory Alan Bradford entered a plea by criminal information this week to three counts of aggravated burglary.
A judge sentenced him to five years in each case to run consecutively for a total of 15-years. However, under Bradford’s plea agreement, he will serve one year in jail and then be furloughed to the Teen Challenge Program.
If he successfully completes the program he will be released on probation. Bradford must also make restitution to nine victims totaling $17,000.
