The Cookeville Rescue Mission will continue its annual tradition of serving meals to those in need on Thanksgiving Day.
“It’s open to anyone in the community that might be alone during the holiday,” Cookeville Rescue Mission Outreach Coordinator and Pastor Ryan Henry said. “It’s just a great way to hang out with other people and to share the fellowship that is Thanksgiving.”
Henry said last year about 200 people showed up to the Thanksgiving meal.
Tomorrow’s meal will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Rescue Mission’s family lodge located on the corner of Jefferson and Davis.
