The Algood City Council has officially appointed Dan Rader IV to be the town’s new city attorney.

“Mr. Rader has serves as city attorney on TML instances on multiple occasions and it’s my opinion that he’s an excellent choice to represent us in this position,” City Administrator Keith Morrison said. “He is very familiar with the city and all of our dealing so it’s a win win for the city.”

Rader replaces John Hatfield who has accepted a position at the public defenders office.

Rader’s appointment was approved unanimously.
