Planned Power Outage Canceled For Overton County

The TVA has canceled a planned power outage for Overton County residents.

The TVA had planned to disconnect power to Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation members served from the Livingston substation Saturday night, which would have affected thousands of residents.

Officials said the outage would have allowed routine maintenance to take place at the substation.

A new date for the planned power outage has not been announced at this time.
