The DeKalb County High School Soccer program may have its own playing field in the near future.
The County Commission cleared the way Monday night for the Board of Education to purchase five acres of property adjoining the north side of the high school campus.
The owner of the property has offered to sell the site to the board for $25,000.
The county commission voted 12-2 to approve the transfer of money for the land purchase.
