Crossville Police Investigating Church Burglary

Crossville Police responded to the scene of a church break-in Saturday night.

Officials said it happened at Crossville Freewill Baptist Church.

Responding officers said they found a safe missing from the church office. A police report indicated that the suspect or suspects used an electric saw to cut off the door to the safe.

Stolen items included a Lowe’s credit card and a number of Wal-Mart gift cards.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
