A Putnam County intersection will be undergoing improvements after the Putnam County Commission granted approval last night.
Monday night’s measure gave County Executive Randy Porter the authority to sign papers for the project at the intersection of Burgess Falls Road and West Cemetery Road.
Porter said the project will improve safety at the intersection.
“There will be a turning lane on Burgess Falls Road to be able to turn onto West Cemetery Road,” Porter said. “There will also a turning lane on West Cemetery where you can turn left and right onto Burgess Falls Road.”
Porter said the project will likely get underway sometime next year.
The commission approved last night’s measure unanimously.
