Tennessee Tech’s Director of Military and Veterans Affairs Kevin Flanary his program is almost ready to open the Eagles Wing Student Veterans Center.
“We haven’t done our official grand opening, though we are open now, we plan to do a ribbon-cutting ceremony once we get our final resources in, but we’re guessing in the next two weeks we should have everything we need to do the grand opening,” Flanary said.
The center will be a place for student veterans and their dependents to relax, study and access services.
Flanary said the TTU student veterans program has grown for the last nine semesters, bringing in more student veterans and their dependents.
