39-year-old Calvin Booher now faces a charge of solicitation to commit first degree murder in addition to his arson charges.
Last September, Booher allegedly set fire to at least three homes, including a former judge’s home.
TBI Agents believe that, while incarcerated, Booher attempted to arrange for a witness in his arson case to be murdered.
Thursday, he was indicted on a charge of solicitation to commit first degree murder. He was served the indictment at the Overton County Jail, where he remains in custody.
