Bailey Not Interested In Running For Corker’s Seat

State Senator Paul Bailey said he’s not interested in running for U.S. Senator Bob Corker’s seat.

Bailey said over the past few days a number of people have asked him to do so.

“When I ran for the State Senate many people would ask if I was doing so as a stepping stone for another office,” Bailey said. “I told people then that no I wasn’t  and that my heart and soul was serving the 15th District and the people of Tennessee and I want to continue to do that.”

Baileys said in the next few years it could be a possibility, but right now he wants to continue to serve the people of the 15th District.
