Six Injured In Head-On Crash In Fentress County

Six people suffered injuries during a two vehicle head-on crash in Fentress County Sunday.

The accident happened around 5:00 p.m on Jonesville Road.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 45-year-old April Buck of Monterey was driving erratically in the Southbound lane when she came upon a northbound Dodge Magnum driven by an unidentified 17-year-old from Clarkrange.

The 17-year-old swerved left to avoid a crash and Buck swerved back, striking the Magnum head-on.

Buck received treatment at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

The 17-year-old received treatment at Cumberland Medical Center along with a juvenile passenger. Three other passengers in the teen’s car were flown by helicopter to U.T. Medical Center. They were identified as Mary Dodson of Clarkrange, 54-year-old Michael Norris of Clarkrange, and another juvenile.

The THP said the investigation is pending.
