Two more Upper Cumberland organizations will hold blood drives this week.
Blood Assurance Donor Recruiter Trudy Cody said Donation costs nothing and is a good, free way to help the Hurricane Harvey victims in Texas.
Before donating make sure you’re not sick and you’ve taken good care of yourself.
“You need to drink extra water, that’s for sure, if you’re going to donate tomorrow, start today. Eat, eat good, before you go over there eat a good breakfast,” Cody said.
Two drives will be held Friday. Cumberland River Hospital in Celina will hold one from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Love is in the Hair salon in Livingston will hold another from 2-7 p.m. Anyone can stop by Blood Assurance on Broad Street from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
