Some temporary traffic signals will soon go up on U.S. 70 at the Crossville city limits.
TDOT spokesman Jennifer Flynn said the agency plans to complete a microsurfacing project on the road, starting at the Crossville city limits and ending just east of Renfro Creek.
“They can put this microsurface treatment on the road which will keep it in pretty decent shape for the next six years or so and it’s a lot less expensive,” Flynn said.
The temporary traffic signals should go up this week, Flynn said.
The entire microsurfacing project should be complete in September, she said.
