A White County judge sentenced a Sparta man on drug charges.

Steven Austin, 32, pled guilty to possession with the intent to sell or deliver over .5 grams of methamphetamine.

Judge Gary McKenzie sentenced him to 20 years in prison on the charge.

Austin was arrested last February at Findlay Elementary when he dropped his child off at school. Officers discovered 15.5 grams of methamphetamine on Austin when they arrested him. He also had two grams of marijuana in clear baggies in his pocket.
