The Crossville City Council met last night and honored fallen Police K-9 Officer Cain.
City Councilman Danny Wyatt made a motion to name the Centennial Park dog park the K-9 Cain Memorial Dog Park.
“You know, there are times that you get to thinking that people really don’t care what you do,” K-9 Cain’s Handler Lieutenant Bart Riden said. “They have shown here that they really do. It’s been amazing and proves that Crossville is a really great place to be.”
Tomorrow, a funeral procession will take place for K-9 Officer Cain. It takes place at 11 a.m. and will run north from Central Baptist Church to the Duer Soccer Complex. The public encouraged to line the streets for that procession.
