Nashville Man Charged Following Tuesday Wreck In Putnam Co.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol charged a Nashville man following a vehicle accident in Baxter this morning.

Officials said the crash happened at Highway 56 and Buffalo Valley Road.

The accident injured 19-year-old Destiny Bull of Cookeville. She received treatment at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Authorities said Bull was on Highway 56 southbound attempting to make a left hand turn onto Buffalo Valley. As she made the turn 27-year-old Juan Ramon Sosa Hernandez was traveling North on 56 and failed to stop at the traffic control sign, striking Bull’s vehicle in the passenger side.

Authorities have charges Hernandez with driving without a license, no insurance, failure to yield at a right-of-way and reckless endangerment.

Hernandez is at the Putnam County Jail under a $5,000 bond.
