A single vehicle crash in McMinnville has claimed the life of a 23-year-old man.
Officials said the incident happened Monday night in the eastbound lane of Old Shelbyville Road.
Zachary Allen Hendrix suffered fatal injuries when his 2003 Buick left the roadway, struck a tree and a then a brick wall near the entrance of a subdivision. The impact ejected Hendrix from the vehicle and a 22-year-old passenger received treatment at Chattanooga’s Erlanger Hospital.
Authorities said the passenger was wearing a seat belt. The driver was not.
