The first annual Cookeville Whiskey Festival will take place on August 4th.
The event will be hosted by Happy Hour Wine and Liquor and will feature over 100 varieties of regional and international whiskies, bourbons and scotches.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cookeville Charitable Foundations Pediatric Fund and Putnam County Imagination Library Fund.
Featured brands to sample include: Pappy Van Winkle, William Laine Weller, Orphan Barrel, Yellowstone, Angels Envy, Stagg, W.L. Weller, Johnnie Walker, Royal Salute, Kavalan, The Dalmore, Laphroig, Macallan-Cask, Balvenie-21 Year, Elijah Craig, Old Forester Birthday Bourbon, Sazerac and many others.
The event will get underway at 5:30 p.m. at the Leslie Town Centre.
Tickets are $100 per person in advance, and $125 per person at the door. Designated driver tickets are $35. Designated drivers will have access to all amenities, except drinks containing alcohol. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted on the premises during the event.
