Successful HOG Rally Gives Way To August Events

Cookeville hosted a successful HOG Rally last week.

Cookeville/Putnam County Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce representative Zach Ledbetter said the week couldn’t have gone better.

“Great week of motorcycle tourism in Cookeville and Putnam County, well over 2k attendees between last Tuesday and some of them even before then throughout this past weekend as well,” Ledbetter said

There’s at least two events planned for the Upper Cumberland in the coming month.

The Putnam County Fair begins August 3. A solar eclipse will take place August 21.

Ledbetter said lots of events are planned for the eclipse weekend to make it special for residents and visitors alike.
