Drug Bust Nets Four Arrests In Cookeville

Putnam County authorities charged four people Wednesday with having more than 100 grams of hallucinogenic drugs.

Officers arrested the four people after an investigation conducted by the Cookeville Police Department’s drug task force.

Officials say officers located 103 grams of a man-made hallucinogenic known as Alpha PVP. Officers also located 2 guns and 5.5 pounds of marijuana.

Harley Pettis, 19, of Battlefield Drive in Cookeville; Kristen Deeann Bendavid, 23, of Old Hickory; Rachel Tallent, 24, of Goodlettsville, and David Tabor of Battlefield Drive in Cookeville, were all charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm during the commission or attempt to commit a dangerous felony.

All four are expected to appear in court August 7th.
