Algood Council Approves Budget On First Reading

Algood city leaders passed the first reading of their budget ordinance Friday.

The meeting was rescheduled when there wasn’t enough members present for a quorum Monday.

City Administrator Keith Morrison said the budget was approved on the first reading with last year’s tax rate.

The budget ordinance still needs to be approved on a second reading to become official.
