Planned Power Outages To Take Place In Sparta

Sparta Electric customers may experience power outages over the next few weeks.

The electric department has scheduled temporary power outages from June 12th through July 30th.

Officials say the outages are necessary to perform sub-station repairs and pole replacements. Most of the outages will occur on weekends or late at night to minimize customer interruptions.
