Suspect Accused Of Sexually Assaulting A Female Wednesday

Cookeville Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man who allegedly detained and sexually assaulted a woman at a motel Wednesday.

Authorities have not released the man’s identity because they have not yet located him. Major Carl sells said the woman was treated and released from a local hospital.

Sells said more charges will likely be filed against the man in the near future.
