WCTE’s annual Great Television Auction begins tonight.
WCTE President Becky Magura said it’s a fun event for everyone involved.
“This is our 35th Great Television Auction, it is an opportunity for businesses to participate, be a showcase for them in our region with items they give to WCTE, then we put them on TV and online and people can call in and bid on them,” Magura said.
Folks can call in and bid or participate online through WCTE’s official auction site.
“It’s really sort of something to behold, people love it, we’re the last PBS station in the state to continue doing an auction but it’s as much an event for our volunteers, we’ll have about 100 volunteers a night,” Magura said.
Items must be picked up the next day at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center.
Auctions will take place Thursday through Sunday nights this week and next week.
