A mobile home park will soon be redeveloped off of Cookeville’s Freehill Road.
Thursday night the City Council approved the final reading of the city’s 5th Redevelopment Area Overlay ordinance.
“This is going to be very nice and it’s going to be quite an asset,” Vice Mayor Larry Epps said. “It’s going to be affordable housing so it hits everything on all cylinders. I look forward to our RAO redistricting continuing in this fashion.”
Developers have plans to build 52 single family detached dwelling for low-to-moderate income families.
