Gainesboro’s Charles Ralph Holland Memorial Library is having a record year.
Director Kate Chalman said folks are using the library’s services more than ever.
“I have about 2,000 items checked out, physical items checked out from the library every month, I think right now we’re looking at 23,000 items checked out for the year up to the end of March, so we’re going to beat out of the water last year’s numbers for circulation and we’re very happy about that,” Chalman said.
Chalman said about 220 people come in each month to use the computers and more than 400 ebooks and audiobooks are checked out digitally.
